Warsaw Offering Pair Of Basketball Camps

WARSAW – A pair of basketball camp opportunities are being offered by the Warsaw boys basketball program in July.
The first session, the Junior High Elite Camp, is from July 13-16, and is for incoming seventh and eighth graders. The camp is intended for junior high players looking to gain an edge in summer workouts and learning the ins of Tiger basketball practice and game routines. Campers will work alongside the varsity coaching staff to build continuity and understanding of the offensive and defensive system for any future Tiger basketball player.
Any players that attend the Junior High Elite Camp are invited to the last four high school workouts in July.
The Junior High Elite Camp will be held in the TRAC facility on the campus of Warsaw Community High School and is from 2-4 p.m. each day.
The second session, the Shooting Camp, is from July 20-22, and is for incoming first through eighth graders. The camp is geared to all aspects of shooting the basketball. Guided by new varsity head coach Matt Moore, his high school teams at Fishers set numerous program records and were ranked second in the state of Indiana in three-point percentage, hitting 44 percent of their attempts as a team.
The Shooting Camp will be held in the TRAC facility on the campus of Warsaw Community High School and is from 5-6 p.m. for grade 1-2 and 6:15-8 p.m. for grades 3-8.
