WARSAW — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kosciusko County until 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10.

At 1:14 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located seven miles northwest of North Manchester.

This storm will impact Warsaw, Winona Lake, Pierceton, Milford, North Webster, Syracuse, Leesburg and Burket.

Portions of Elkhart, Wabash and Noble Counties will also be impacted by this storm.

70 mph wind gusts are expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs and outbuildings.

For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
