Kosciusko County Sees Seven New COVID-19 Cases

WARSAW — As of noon Tuesday, June 9, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported seven new cases of COVID-19. This brings the county’s number of positive cases to 252.
Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 2,158.
The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 38,033. More than 315,000 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19.
Locally, Whitley County has 55 positive cases, Wabash County has 86 positive cases, and Marshall County has 230 positive cases. Noble County has 305 positive cases. Elkhart County has 1,800 positive cases, which is up from 1,741 reported on Monday, June 8.
Fulton County’s case number remains unchanged at 51.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 4,005 positive cases; Allen County has 1,956 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 1,437 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 10,444.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 518,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
