Warsaw Woman Faces New Charge After Not Reporting To Jail

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman now faces an additional criminal charge after failing to report to the Kosciusko County Jail for a sentence.
Jordyn Teresa Walker, 25, 3966 E. CR 300N, Warsaw, is charged with failure to return to lawful detention, a level 6 felony.
Walker was formally charged in Kosciusko Superior Court 3 on one count of fraud, a level 6 felony. According to court documents, Walker was released on her own recognizance on Nov. 13, 2019.
She was then sentenced on May 27, to one year of time in the county jail. While in open court, Walker requested that she be allowed to report to the jail at 5 p.m. May 27. The court granted the request and released her on the condition that she report to KCJ at the specified time.
Walker failed to appear at the jail.
Walker was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 3, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
