NORTH WEBSTER — A North Webster woman was recently arrested after threatening to kill two people and entering a home without permission.
Amanda Marie Daler, 38, 507 W. Huntington St., North Webster; also showing an address of 528 Jefferson Estates I., Mishawaka, is charged with intimidation and residential entry, both level 6 felonies.
On Nov. 3, 2019, a North Webster Police officer responded to a report of intimidation at a residence.
The officer spoke with a man, who said he and a woman were in bed when Daler entered his residence without permission and told them to get up. Daler allegedly said she was already in the house and was going to shoot both of them and kill them. She also said she would burn the house down.
According to court documents, the officer also spoke with the woman at the residence. She said she was just going to sleep when Daler entered the residence without consent and told her and the man to get out of bed. Daler said she would “shoot them in the head and would just light a match.”
The officer then found Daler in the back area of the residence going through items. Daler told the officer she believes the residence is hers due to her mother’s death.
Daler was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 26, 2020, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
