WARSAW – Noah Burgh has been baseball oriented since he was a kid. Now, he has a little money in his pocket for his dedication to the sport.
Burgh was awarded the Austin McCleary Memorial Scholarship. The award goes to a former Warsaw Little League ball player who goes on to play baseball at the next level in any capacity. Burgh has excelled in the travel circuits as well as playing at an All-Conference level with Warsaw Community High School.
Burgh, the son of Terry and Amy Burgh and grandson of Burleigh Burgh, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career with Purdue Northwest.
The scholarship, given by the Warsaw Little League, is for $250. This is the second year Warsaw Little League has issued a McCleary Scholarship, the first going to Jacob Lucas last year.
