Warsaw Senior Pictures Scheduled For June 5
Press Release
WARSAW — Blosser’s Photography will be taking professional pictures of all Warsaw Community High School’s Class of 2020 graduates in their caps and gowns from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 5.
It is the school corporation’s desire that all graduating seniors are photographed, according to a news release from the school corporation.
Blosser’s will photograph individual students in full cap and gown holding their diploma. An additional photo will be used to create a Class of 2020 group picture. There is no requirement to purchase pictures from Blosser’s, though they will have several packages available if families choose to do so. Families will need to go to blossersstudio.com to view and order pictures.
The first and most important reason for the photograph is that it may be used in the event that the proposed outdoor graduation date would need to be changed to a virtual event. Senior pictures would be used to celebrate each student’s accomplishments. Another reason is to create a large group picture of the senior class in caps and gowns. This will be done virtually by the use of green screen technology adhering to social distancing guidelines.
This senior picture event will follow COVID-19 social distancing requirements. This includes temperature checks of everyone who enters the building. All school officials and photographers will wear protective masks.
Any senior who has completed the Warsaw Area Career Center Academy or has earned the Work Ethic or INWork certificate can pick up those items at this time. All students will receive a letter of congratulations from state congressmen and senators. Seniors will also have the opportunity to turn in any last-minute items such as books, etc., and pay any outstanding balances.
Finally, properly staged, this should not take any longer than 10 minutes from start to finish. WCHS will use an alpha-split to ensure a good flow for students. Seniors are encouraged to follow the suggested times per their last name.
Alpha-Split:
(H-N) 1 to 2 p.m.
