NLC Issues Academic All-Conference
GOSHEN – The Northern Lakes Conference issued its 2019-20 list for the Academic All-Conference for the NLC’s 20 varsity sports and cheerleading. Each school had 10 student-athletes selected, with their participated sports listed with their names.
The conference issues the recognition based off five sets of criteria:
1. Each school shall name ten (10) student athletes to receive All-Conference status as an NLC Academic Student Athlete.
2. Students athletes shall be seniors and participated their senior year in a recognized conference sport or cheerleading.
3. Each school shall determine their Academic Student Athletes based on accumulative grade point averages from their 7th semester or 11th trimester.
4. Schools shall notify the NLC Secretary with recipient’s name and sport(s) for preparation of a press release around April 15 of each year.
5. Each Academic NLC Student Athlete shall receive a medallion and certificate.
