Linda Kay (Gibbons) Lowry — PENDING
Linda Kay (Gibbons) Lowry, 77, of Argos, passed away 11:45 p.m. April 17, 2020 at We Belong Senior Care, Plymouth, where she had been in failing health the past three months.
On January 23, 1943 in Plymouth, she was born to Everett Gibbons and Florence (McGriff) Gibbons. She had lived all of her life in Marshall County.
On October 3, 1971 she married Carl Lee Lowry at the Santa Anne Church and together they would share the next 47 years until Carl passed on October 3, 2018.
She wass a bookkeeper at Bomarko, Plymouth; Wicks Homes and Buildings; and Vories Farms.
She attended Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos. She was a member of the Argos American Legion Auxiliary, Post#68; and Ladies of the Moose Lodge, Plymouth.
She was a graduate of Culver High School with the class of 1961.
She is survived by her daughters – Lisa Overmyer Rochester; Lori Virgil and husband Bruce of Plymouth; Michelle Nichols of Argos; Karen Newman and husband Kevin of Plymouth; and a son Michael Lowry and wife Linda of Rochester/
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren
Also surviving are Max Gibbons and his wife Joyce of Argos; and Merl Gibbons and wife Leona of Plymouth.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Richard Lowry
