Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
8:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, West CR 1300S, west of South CR 500W, Silver Lake. Driver: Dominick E. Haney, 19, North Old US Highway 31, Rochester. Haney was traveling east on West CR 1300S when the rear tire of his vehicle blew, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and overcorrect, striking a metal fence post. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
11:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, East McKenna Road, west of EMS B37 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Abigail L. Signorelli, 28, EMS B3A Lane, Leesburg. Signorelli was traveling on McKenna Road when her vehicle left the roadway, striking some trees. Damage up to $2,500.
3:09 p.m. Thursday, April 9, South SR 25, near South CR 450W, Warsaw. Driver: Dusty C. Wiesehan, 19, South CR 1000W, Mentone. Wiesehan was traveling east on SR 25 when a turkey entered the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:50 a.m. Saturday, April 11, US 30, near East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Anthony R. Conforti, 26, Kohler Avenue, Old Forge, Pa.; and Joseph D. Potts, 40, South Wolf Road, Columbia City. Conforti was traveling west on US 30 when he rear-ended Potts’ vehicle. at the intersection of East Old Road 30 and US 30. A passenger in Conforti’s vehicle, Jocelyn Donsky, 18, Nanticoke, Pa., complained of neck and wrist pain. Potts complained of back pain. Both Donsky and Potts were taken to area hospitals. Damage up to $25,000.
