WINONA LAKE – A two-vehicle accident at Packerton Road and CR 225S left two people with apparent serious injuries late Saturday afternoon, April 11.

The accident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. and involved a gold-colored Pontiac SUV and a dark Dodge Journey, also an SUV.

The Pontiac was overturned upside down and two people were trapped inside.

Medflight for Lutheran EMS arrived at the site.

Two people pulled from the Pontiac suffered injuries.

Those responding included Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Winona Lake Police and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
