MILFORD — Two organizations in two different Kosciusko County communities will be offering free meals to anyone in need.

New Beginnings Preschool and Childcare in Milford will be hosting “Pasta with a Purpose,” beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 9. Board and staff members alike will offer a curbside spaghetti dinner, including garlic bread and a vegetable. To-go boxes will be delivered to your car until 7 p.m. or until all the food is gone.

“Members of the Milford community have been so generous to us with their donations throughout the years,” said board member Kim McCreary. “We were looking for a way to give back to our community and have seen similar free dinners in other towns. We though a spaghetti dinner would be perfect.”

New Beginnings is located at 708 W. Syracuse St., Milford.

Two days later, the Syracuse Knights of Columbus will host a free drive-thru pancake and egg breakfast. The morning meal will be served from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at 414 S. Sycamore St., Syracuse.

While there is no cost for the breakfast, the Knights will be collecting canned goods and cash donations for the local food pantries at the event.

Everyone is welcome to partake in the breakfast. All children will be given a free Easter bag.
