Salvation Army Bringing Mobile Food Bank To Fairgrounds
WARSAW — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will conduct a bonus distribution through a Mobile Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, April 7 at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds (front parking lot), 1400 E Smith St., Warsaw.
This will be a drive-thru distribution of pre-boxed items, said a news release from the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County.
Recipients must stay in their vehicles and observe COVID-19 guidelines. The food is free of charge and given on a first-come, first-served basis up to 500 households in need of food assistance.
The food distribution is being done in cooperation with The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County. One hundred percent of the total program costs for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is financed with federal funds. For more information go to feedindiana.org
