Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
11:03 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, East Wilcox Road near South CR 350E, Warsaw. Driver: Kevin J. Schildroth, 65, South Cassandra Lane, Warsaw. Schildroth said he was distracted by his dog in the front passenger seat of his vehicle. This caused his vehicle to leave the left side of the roadway and collide with a tree. Schildroth suffered a wrist injury but refused EMS. It is unknown if the dog was injured in the collision. Damages up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:19 p.m. Monday, March 23, 734 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Driver: Micheal L. Ward, 34, South Range Street, Wolcott. Ward backed his vehicle into a light pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.

5:07 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, South SR 25, Rochester. Driver: James E. Fry, 54, Rochester. Hit deer.
