Warsaw First Friday Returns April 3
WARSAW — Eager for First Friday in downtown Warsaw? You have one more month to wait.
The First Friday returns to downtown Warsaw April 3 and will continue monthly for the year, according to the First Friday listings on the Warsaw Community Development Corporation website.
Most of the First Friday events are located along West Center Street in downtown Warsaw.

- “April First Friday: Summer Camp Round-Up” from 5-9 p.m. April 3, Downtown Warsaw. April First Friday offers area families a registration round-up for summer 2020 overnight camps, athletic camps and leagues, performing arts classes, and more for the youth of all ages! Check into opportunities at Camp Crosley, Camp Mack, Quaker Haven Camp, Grace Athletics Camps, WCHS Summer Camps, Wagon Wheel Junior, Dance Schools, Music lessons and more!
- “May First Friday: Kids United” from 5-9 p.m. May 1, Downtown Warsaw. May First Friday will focus on children ages 0-6 and young families. The event will feature children’s arts & craft tables, activities and physical play, kids music and story-telling along with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library free book program registration kick-off.
- “June First Friday: Honor and Remember” from 5-9 p.m. June 5, Downtown Warsaw and Fribley Field on Market Street. An Operation Iraqi Freedom memorial event honoring all US Servicemen and women, from 1976 to date, in Kosciusko County will take place at Fribley Field. Food trucks will be on-site, according to the WCDC.
- “July First Friday: Hometown Picnic” from 5-9 p.m. July 3, Downtown Warsaw. Warsaw’s Hometown Picnic is an evening of celebration. Join community members on the Courthouse Square for free hotdogs, watermelon, ice cream, food trucks, vendor games and more as the city celebrates the American tradition of political freedom.
- “August First Friday: Car Show” from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 7, Downtown Warsaw. The biggest event of the year, August First Friday features numerous categories of cars, trucks and motorcycles and more, according to the WCDC.
- The theme for the September First Friday hasn’t been announced. However, it will take place on Sept. 4, Downtown Warsaw.
- “October First Friday: Art-Tober” from 5-9 p.m. Oct. 2, Downtown Warsaw. Art-tober will feature the Lakeland Art Association’s Plein-Aire Art contest and exhibition, WCS Art Instructors’ children’s make and take art, food trucks and more.
- “November First Friday: Thanks for Giving – Fill the Truck” from 5-9 p.m. Nov. 6, Downtown Warsaw. Thanks for Giving – Fill the Truck is an annual fundraiser for Kosciusko County human services organizations. Area residents and businesses donate and deliver non-perishable food items, clothing, bedding, etc. to fill the dump truck in addition to cash donations. Proceeds are then delivered to participating not for profit organizations supporting individuals and families in need, according to the WCDC.
- “December First Friday: Downtown Holly Days” from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 4, Downtown Warsaw. The last First Friday of 2020. Downtown Holly Days kicks-off the holiday season each year with Santa’s House, horse-drawn carriage rides, sponsored ice sculptures and the Twinkle Parade.
