WARSAW – The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce recently visited Lake City Gymnastics (LCG) in Warsaw to celebrate their first year of operation.
LCG opened in February of 2019 with 10 pre-registered students. Over the last year they have grown to over 300 students that attend weekly classes from ages two-and-a-half and up as well as a competitive travel team.
Adrea Swanson, who started the gym with her husband, David, had a vision of creating an environment that teaches gymnastics in a positive and energetic way.
“I had a very positive experience learning gymnastics as child and it made a large impact in my life,” Adrea said. “I want to pass that along to our students here at Lake City Gymnastics.”
Adrea has now been coaching gymnastics for over 25 years and also serves as a USA Gymnastics judging official.
“David and I moved to Warsaw to be closer to our family but at the same time we have fell in love with the Warsaw community. Serving Warsaw and the surrounding communities at Lake City Gymnastics is an honor and something we take very seriously.”
LCG has recently started a Ninja Core program for boys that will be starting its second month. Ninja Core classes began from a growing interest from the community for tumbling and strength training classes designed for boys.
Lake City Gymnastics is located right off US 30 by Ruby Tuesdays at 1695 Kosciusko Drive.
