Zimmer Biomet Confirms Job Cuts In Warsaw
WARSAW — As Zimmer Biomet continues looking at ways to improve efficiency and ensure they are investing in priority growth areas, some corporate positions were recently eliminated at the Warsaw-based orthopedic company.
The eliminated positions reportedly involved less than100 jobs and did not include Zimmer Biomet’s manufacturing employees, according to Monica Kendrick, vice-president of external communications.
Kendrick said individuals whose positions were eliminated are receiving financial and career placement support.
While these positions were eliminated, the resulting re-investment will provide for growth in other areas of the business, Kendrick said.
