NORTHWOOD 47, CONCORD 25
The Panthers scored at better than 72 percent in the second half to run away from host Concord Thursday.

NorthWood hit 13-of-18 shots after the intermission on the way to their third-straight win. Trent Edwards scored on 7-of-12 shots for the night on his way to 19 points with five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Jason Borkholder and Jamarr Jackson finished with eight points apiece, and Jackson also notched six rebounds and two steals.

Zaven Koltookian scored 10 points with five rebounds for Concord, which turned the ball over 20 times and was out-rebounded 27-16 by the Panthers.

‘Wood moved to 12-4 with its third straight win and 4-2 in the Northern Lakes Conference. The Panthers will host West Noble next Tuesday.

TRITON 47, ARGOS 44
Triton rallied from a slim deficit at the start of the fourth to a narrow win over Sectional 50 rival Argos at home at the Trojan Trench Thursday.

Tyson Yates knocked down 4-of-5 shots from the floor and 5-of-6 free throws on his way to a team-high 14 points, while Ashton Oviedo scored 10 point with four assists, three steals and two blocked shots for the Trojans. Tyler Heckaman scored eight points to go with 10 rebounds.

Argos got a game-high 17 points from Sam Manikowski, and J.J Morris scored 10 for the Dragons at the game, which featured eight ties and five lead changes.

Triton also won Thursday’s JV contest, 46-32. Bruce Johnson buried 5-of-9 three-pointers en route to 15 points, while Connor Large scored 10 points with six rebounds and three assists.

The varsity Trojans improved to 9-6. They’ll play a Hoosier North Athletic Conference game at Caston Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

ELKHART MEMORIAL 59, WARSAW 46
The Tigers dropped their third straight game on the road at Memorial Thursday night.

The Chargers jumped out front with a 20-10 second quarter on the way to the Northern Lakes Conference win. Malachi Emmons went 9-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-3 from the line en route to a game-high 21 points for Memorial. He also pulled down five rebounds and passed out two assists. D’Argon Lewis made half his shots on the way to 14 points with four steals, while Damarion Anderson gave the Chargers a third double-digit output with 13 points — earned at a 6-for-7 clip — to go with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Memorial made 24-of-44 (54.5 percent) of its shots form the floor, including 6-of-15 (40 percent) from three-point range.

Luke Adamiec scored 20 points on 10-of-15 shooting, but his was the only double-digit production for Warsaw. He also tallied five rebounds and two steals. Blake Marsh was held scoreless but managed three assists and four steals. Brock Poe scored eight points, and Keagan Larsh finished with six for the Tigers, who slid to 10-6 and 3-3 in the NLC.

Warsaw’s JV did win its game, 62-55. Jaxson Gould scored 19 points with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals in an all-around strong game for the JV Tigers. Tyler Kuhn and Judah Simfukwe finished with nine points apiece, Simfukwe also recording three assists and four steals.

The Tigers will play host to Plymouth in another NLC game next Friday.

NORTHRIDGE 73, WAWASEE 36
Wawasee lost for the first time in five games with a loss at Northern Lakes Conference leader Northridge.

Carter Stotlzfus scored 16 points with six assists and two steals for the Raiders, while Sam Smith put up 13 points, and Clay Stotlzfus tallied 12 points and three assists for the home team.

Keaton Dukes led Wawasee with 14 points and seven rebounds. Ethan Hardy scored 13 points with two assists.

The Warriors slipped to 11-6 with a 2-4 NLC record.

Wawasee’s JV also lost, 51-33. Landon Gause scored 12 points for the JV Warriors.

Wawasee will resume play at home versus Goshen next Friday.

LAKEWOOD PARK 57, LAKELAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 28
The Cougars suffered their seventh-straight loss to visiting Lakewood Park Thursday.

Seth Martin led LCA with nine points, and Silas Gagnon scored eight for the home team. Gagnon also pulled down five rebounds, while Brayden Lane passed out three assists to complement four points for the Cougars.

Caedmon Bontrager poured in 22 points for Lakewood. Josh Pike finished with nine.

The Cougars fell to 3-16.

LCA’s JV also lost, 40-20.

LCA returns to action Saturday at home versus Smith Academy in a 2:30 p.m. tip-off.
