Plymouth Clips Valley Swim
PLYMOUTH – With state tournament season freshly on the horizon, Plymouth hosted Tippecanoe Valley Monday night for some tune-up work.
PLYMOUTH GIRLS 117, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 64
Two days after taking on the masses in the Three Rivers Conference Championships, Valley had three girls earn a top spot against the host Pilgrims. Olivia Livengood was a double winner, going 28.61 in the 50 free and 1:03.31 in the 100 free. Makena Smith earned a win in the breaststroke at 1:20.82 and Shayleigh Honeycutt posted a 1:16.61 to top the list in the butterfly.
Graci Holm led Plymouth with a pair of wins, taking the individual medley at 2:34.68 and backstroke at 1:08.41.
PLYMOUTH BOYS 97, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 68
Valley had a trio of double winners Monday night. Karl Parker posted wins in the 200 free at 2:03.39 and butterfly at 1:03.34, Brandon Hoffman owned the IM at 2:24.90 and backstroke at 1:02.68, and Mason Stephen in the 100 free at 54.02 and breaststroke at 1:06.14. Valley also teamed to a 1:55.03 win in the medley relay.
Hugh Smith’s 24.58 in the 50 free and Cam Riddle’s 6:07.07 in the 500 free paced Plymouth’s win.
