North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department responded to the following accident:
6:25 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, North SR 13, north of East CR 400N, Pierceton. Driver: Melissa J. Coy, 35, EMS B18 Lane, Pierceton. Coy was traveling north on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Coy complained of left arm pain after the accident. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
9:59 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, North Columbia Street near West Porter Street, Warsaw. Driver: Adam P. Shay, 29, West Bensart Drive, Claypool. While driving on North Columbia Street, the throttle on Shay’s vehicle started to stick, causing the vehicle to accelerate. While he attempted to stop the vehicle, it slid on the slick roadway and struck a parked unoccupied vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
9:09 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, North Side Drive near North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Stefanie A. Habegger, 36, North Side Drive, Warsaw. While turning right from Fox Farm Road and North CR 150W on to North Side Drive, Habegger’s vehicle slid off the roadway, striking a stop sign with the front passenger side. Damages up to $2,500.
7:07 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, SR 15 near Arthur Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Donald E. Lance, 86, West CR 300S, Warsaw; and Matthew Maser, 32, South Jefferson Street B, Silver Lake. While driving on a slick roadway, the front of Maser’s vehicle collided with the rear of Lance’s vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accident:
6:17 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, Old Road 31 and CR 200N. Driver: Ed Kelso, no other information available. Hit deer.
