Warsaw Man Faces Felony Charges Following An Alleged Threat
WARSAW — A Warsaw man faces two felony charges following an alleged threat.
Marcus Anthony Hinkle, 19, 2570 Belmont Drive, Warsaw, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, a level 4 felony; and intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony.
On Dec. 30, 2019, the Warsaw Police Department received a report of a threat made by Hinkle, said the affidavit of probable cause.
Police discovered that Hinkle allegedly was involved in an argument that turned physical on Dec. 29. Following the argument, Hinkle allegedly sent a photo of himself holding a black handgun with a threatening message to an unnamed recipient via Snapchat, said the affidavit.
The affidavit did not elaborate on the relation of the individual involved in the alleged argument with Hinkle and the Snapchat message recipient.
Hinkle was previously convicted of battery with moderate injury in 2018.
On Jan. 6, Hinkle was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail with a bond of $15,250 surety and cash.
