Goshen Takes Two Over NorthWood
GOSHEN – Goshen held its ground against NorthWood and guest Mishawaka in a double dual swim meet at the Goshen Aquatic Center.

In what will look like a Northern Lakes Conference trio a year from now, the 2019-20 season meet between the three teams was an NLC dual between the RedHawks and Panthers, and a non-conference test against the Cavemen.
Zoe Eichorn and Sam Hunter pulled double wins for the RedHawks, Eichorn claiming the 50 free (26.19) and the breaststroke (1:16.93), while Hunter took the individual medley (2:21.17) and butterfly (1:02.90). Goshen also won all three relays and took 10 of the 12 events in all.
NorthWood reigned in diving, led by Reagan Koble’s series score of 176.60.
Mishawaka’s lone win came from Lilly Wilson in the 100 free at 1:07.26.

The boys side featured a pair of Goshen triumphs, while the Cavemen got the best of the Panthers in its competitions.
Nick Zehr led the way for the RedHawks with wins in the IM (2:06.79) and backstroke (59.77). Goshen also claimed all three relays and eight of the 12 events to lay claim to both dual wins.
NorthWood’s one win came in diving, with Caden Jenkins posting a 210.95 series.
Mishawaka’s Eric Areseneau pulled off a double win, taking the fly (58.95) and breaststroke (1:03.55). Ethan Stanton added a win for the Cavemen in the 500 (5:16.47).
