Steven L. Pickens, 61, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, at 12:35 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. Steven was born on Aug. 18, 1958, in Letart Falls, Ohio, to Elmer and Mary (Chaney) Pickens. He was united in marriage to Janei Boykin.

Steven proudly served his country in the US Army. He was an employee of the RV Industry.  During his life, he enjoyed playing the guitar and camping.

Steven is survived by his wife, Janei Pickens, of Nappanee; son, Doug (Heather) Pickens, of Leesburg; daughters, Stormi (Dennis) Holdeman of Columbia City, Angela Boykin of Nappanee; siblings, Nancy (Chuck) Anderson of Mason W. Va.; Jim (Mary) Pickens of Pomeroy, Ohio, Bob (Donna) Pickens of Warsaw; and, Roger (Norma) Pickens, Point Pleasant, W. Va.; twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with his care.
