TIGERS TAKE PART AT CARROLL INVITE
Warsaw saw its boys and girls swim teams both finish runner-up to the host Chargers at the Carroll Swim Invite in Fort Wayne.
Carroll bested Warsaw in the girls standings 729-475 and the Charger boys won 639-514.
Warsaw boasted of one event champion, that being Grant Knight in the breaststroke with a winning time of 1:00.05. Warsaw had both its 200 and 400 free relays take runner-up spots, the 200 at 1:32.45 and the 400 at 3:32.46.
The Warsaw medley relay placed third, as did Michael Ray in the 200 freestyle and Zach Lalonde in the 500 freestyle.
Warsaw’s girls had its 200 and 400 free relays place third, while Taylor Gunter was fourth in the butterfly and Gracie Willig was fourth in the 500 freestyle.

It was a complete whitewash for the Lady Raiders while NorthWood was able to find some wiggle room in the boys competition Saturday morning at NorthWood.
Northridge went 1-2-3 in all 12 events against NorthWood in a commanding performance.
NorthWood had a pair of firsts in the meet, Joe Hahn winning the 50 with a time of 24.25 and Caden Jenkins posted a 218.95 series in an all-Panther diving showcase. NorthWood got runner-up times of 2:08.29 in the medley relay, 1:47.47 in the 200 free relay, and 1:00.57 from Karson Kirby in the 100 freestyle.
