Animal Shows, Sleepovers Happening At North Webster Library
NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library has announced its upcoming events.

Alyssa Kunish makes a feathered friend at last summer’s Mark’s Ark Live Animal Show. Mark’s Ark will return to North Webster Community Public Library 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3 with his animal friends for another show.
Accompanied by his menagerie of animal friends, animal handler Mark Kohlhorst will present his popular Mark’s Ark Live Animal Show at North Webster Community Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3. Kids and their families will get to meet, pet and learn about all sorts of animals from cute and furry to creepy and crawly. All the animals are people-friendly and closely supervised. The show is free and open to kids of all ages.
Later that night toys come alive during the Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals or dolls to the Youth Department at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, for Evening Story Time, then leave their toy friends overnight at the library. Bring the kids back the next morning between 10 a.m. and noon to pick up their toys and watch a slide show of their overnight adventures. You will be amazed at the mischief those stuffed animals get into. Juice and donuts will be served Saturday morning while the kids watch the sleepover antics.
There will be plenty of live movement when Let’s Move starts up again at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, in the Adult Services Department. This dance exercise class will be held every Thursday through June 25. An informal time of having fun dancing for fitness, Let’s Move is free and open to adults of all ages and fitness levels. No pre-registration is needed.
The Adult Services Department is partnering with the Warsaw American Legion Post 49 to send new and gently used paperback books to U.S. Military service personnel serving overseas. Those wanting to donate new or good quality used paperback books may drop them off at the library circulation desk. They will then be delivered to the Warsaw American Legion, who will ship them overseas for distribution to those serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The library will be closed all-day New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. The library will re-open at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2.
