Mother Of Three Killed In Fatal Bus Stop Accident Arrested For Battery
ROCHESTER — The mother of the three children who were killed in an October 2018 fatal bus stop accident was arrested for battery shortly following the sentencing of Alyssa Shepherd on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Brittany N. Ingle, 30, Rochester, is charged with battery against a public safety official, a class B misdemeanor.
No court documents have been filed regarding the alleged battery incident. According to vinelink.com, Ingle was released on her own recognizance. As of this morning, no details were available on what time Ingle was released from custody.
But what appears to have happened was some kind of physical altercation inside the courtroom as Shepherd was escorted out, resulting in Ingle’s arrest. The incident happened after the media had been escorted out of the courtroom.
Alyssa Shepherd, 25, Rochester, was sentenced in Fulton County Superior Court One after hitting four kids with a vehicle while passing a stopped school bus with its arm extended. This resulted in the deaths of nine-year-old Alivia Stahl and six-year-old twins Xzavier and Mason Ingle.
An updated story will be posted if the charge is dropped or if an affidavit of probable cause is filed in the matter.
