Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Miller
Rudolph “Rudy” Miller, 68, Nappanee, died at 2:32 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after a short illness.
Rudy was born Jan. 24, 1951, in Elkhart to the Rev. David J. D. and Lydia Ann (Schwartz) Miller and was a lifetime area resident. He had formerly attended Northwood Chapel in Nappanee and was an active member at Nappanee First Brethren Church where he served on the Airforce Intercessory Prayer team.
Rudy is survived by brothers: Bill (Teri) Miller of Nappanee; Elmer (Pam) Miller of Bourbon; brother Carl (Roxy) Miller of Nappanee; sisters: Mary “Beth” Smith of Goshen; Barbara Knox, Martha Welty, both of Warsaw; Malinda (Kevin) Kierstead of Presque Isle, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister Roseanna, sister Emma; bothers John Henry and David Jr.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 20, at the Nappanee First Brethren Church where Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Tom Schiefer will officiate.
