Home In North Webster Damaged By Fire

Firefighters from North Webster and Turkey Creek Fire Territory responded to a house fire on Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, around 1:38 p.m. today.
NORTH WEBSTER — Fire extensively damaged the home of Adam and Charisse Gunkel, 420 W. Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 20.
North Webster Fire Department was notified at approximately 1:38 p.m. of smoke coming from the roof of the residence. The first fire official on scene reported it was a working house fire with assistance requested from Turkey Creek Fire Territory.
Firefighters had the fire under control around 2:10 p.m. and the American Red Cross was notified to assist the owners.
No one was at home when the fire was noticed.
The single-family one-story wood frame home was built around 1920 and is approximately 1,272 square feet in size.
