Bill L. Boardman
Bill L. Boardman, 89, of rural Mentone, and formerly of Wabash, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family at 6:19 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 29, 1930 in Wabash to the late James and Pauline (Niccum) Boardman.

He married on May 6, 1950 in Logansport to Miriam Ann Cain, she survives.
He was owner with his brother, Jack, of Boardman Chevrolet Sales in Bourbon, for 36 years.
Bill attended Wabash High School and furthered his education at the Chevrolet School for Dealers in Cincinnati, Ohio. Â He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Mentone United Methodist Church. Â Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine of Ft. Wayne where he had been a part of the minibike patrol. Â He also was a member of the American Legion of La Feria, Texas, and the Sun Valley Village golf team and in past years had show horses.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam Boardman; Daughters, Terri and husband Ken Snyder and Kimberly and husband Allen Krichbaum; a son, Pedro and wife Tina Boardman; 11 grandchildren, Darek, Dax, Jarvis, Damion, Tana, Justin, Jared, Connor, Clayton, Caleb, and Collin;12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Norma O’Dell. She was preceded by her parents and brother, Jack Boardman
The funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at the Mentone United Methodist Church 116 E Main St, Mentone, with Pastor Jason Rice officiating.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mentone United Methodist Church.
 The final remembrance place will be in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
Arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana.
