New Books Coming Soon To Bell Memorial Public Library
MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library announced its events for the upcoming week.
Monday, Nov. 11, is Veteran’s Day. Bell Memorial Public library will be open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
New books are coming soon. Please note that some books are pre-ordered. Concerned about food safety? Wonder if you are handling or storing food properly? Story Hour will take place on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. in the children’s room. This week’s theme will be “Pilgrims”. Stories to be read are: “If You Sailed on the Mayflower in 1620” by Ann McGovern and “Pilgrim Cat” by Carol Peacock. Children will be creating a mayflower painting for their craft project.
Read It Watch It is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 12 starting at 4 p.m. The topic of discussion will be “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (A Sherlock Holmes Mystery). The library will be showing the film as well.
