UPDATE: Minor Injuries In SR 13 Crash

Traffic on SR 13, south of CR 500N, was shut down for approximately 30 minutes following a rear-end collission.
NORTH WEBSTER — Minor injuries were reported by one driver after a crash at 9:13 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, on SR 13, south of CR 500N, south of North Webster.
Skyler A. Cone, 31, North Warsaw-Oswego Road, Warsaw, complained of pain to the face but refused medical treatment.
According to initial information by North Webster Police Chief Greg Church, Gena M. Swihart, 61, Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, driving a Lincoln MKX, was stopped southbound in construction traffic when her vehicle was rear-ended by Cone’s Ford F150 truck. Church reported the driver of the truck said he looked down for a brief moment and when he looked up he saw the stopped vehicle, but it was too late to avoid the collision.
After impact, the Lincoln was pushed into the northbound lane of traffic. Both vehicles were towed by Stuckman’s.
North Webster Fire Department and North Webster EMS along with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded.
The highway was closed until the vehicles could be removed from the roadway.
Damage was estimated up to $25,000.
