Wawasee Wrestling Club Seeking Newcomers
SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Wrestling Club is open for registration for the upcoming season.
The club has revamped its practice program for young wrestlers. Boys and girls with less than three years of experience will hold practice on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Wawasee High School wrestling room, located up the stairs in the northwest corner of the annex gym.
Registration and first practice will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Those unable to attend that evening may register at any Tuesday practice. Practices will be held on Tuesdays from Nov. 19 through thru Feb. 9. The cost is $65.00. This fee includes a t-shirt, instruction, and a USA card, which is required for insurance purposes and to participate in wrestling events.
The cost of the card is $40.00 which is included in your registration cost. All wrestlers using the wrestling room for club must hold one of the cards.
