Benny R. Stage, Jr. (R)
Stage, 55, has lived in Claypool for the last 15 years. Stage has worked as the head custodian for Claypool Elementary School for 10 years and also worked in construction for almost 30 years.
“I am running for Claypool Town Council because I believe it is time for change and new energy and ideas,” said Stage. “I think the council needs to keep working with the town marshal in making Claypool a safe place for families to live and prosper. I think we also need to create a positive outlook for businesses who want to be a part of a small town with a heart.”
Stage said he would like to see council members and citizens work together at town meetings, while also focusing on activities for community betterment.
