Warsaw Man Arrested Following Police Pursuit
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after he allegedly fled police in his vehicle and then began ramming police cars after being cornered.

While blocked in by police, Roatcap started ramming the vehicles in front of and behind him. Roatcap caused damage to both police vehicles. At that point, officers were able to incapacitate Roatcap’s vehicle with stop sticks.
While in the vehicle, Roatcap allegedly waved a pocket knife in a manner that officers believed communicated he would use the knife on them should they get closer, said the affidavit.
Officers broke the window of the vehicle and used Tasers to apprehend Roatcap.
Officers conducted a field sobriety test at the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, which Roatcap failed. He then consented to a certified breath test. Roatcap registered a breath alcohol concentration of .129%
