Hard Hitting Fun At Funkamania XVII At CCAC
WARSAW — About 400 people attended the Funkdafied Wrestling Federation’s sixth-anniversary show at the City-County Athletic Complex Saturday, Oct. 19.
“I feel really good about it,” said FWF Promoter Brian Johnson about the turnout.
The stars of the FWF performed before an energetic crowd.
Matches included:
- Cruiserweight champion “The Absolute Answer” Nick Cutler retained his title in a four-way match against Matt O’Hare, Jorge Bravo and Kevin Storm.
- Alexander S. Kirk fell to Brutus Dylan in a singles match.
- Hot Country (Celtus Farmer & Fireball) ran the gauntlet amongst other teams The Red Army (Gemini and Redrum), The Police Department (Rod Street and Deputy Daze) and The Thieves of Greatness to become the new FWF Tag Team Champions.
Later on, Dru Skills faced the Heroes and Legends Champion “The Flowin Samoan” Anthony Totele for the vacant FWF World Heavyweight Championship. The title had “been vacant since Aug. 24,” Johnson said.
