Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:26 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, SR 14, west of South CR 100E, Silver Lake. Driver: Ellen M. Ferrell, 58, SR 14, Rochester. A deer ran out onto the roadway and collided with Ferrell’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000. 

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

7:29 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, CR 450N and CR 200W. Driver: Jessica D. Fishburn, 35, Rochester. Fishburn’s vehicle struck a deer.

12:20 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, SR 14, south of Division. Driver: Joshua S. Napier, 37, Silver Lake. Napier’s vehicle struck a guardrail.

5:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, CR 350S and CR 900E. Driver: Megan J. Ramsey, 31, Akron. Ramsey’s vehicle struck a utility pole. A 9-hear-old sustained minor injuries.

11:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, US 31 and CR 375N. Driver: Dustin Maisel, 40, Rochester. Maisel’s vehicle went off the roadway. Medics were called to check on a juvenile passenger.

4:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, US 31 and Olson Road. Driver: Eric P. Weiand, no age available, Rochester. Police were notified a vehicle went under a semi trailer, exited the opposite side and left the scene.

1:32 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, Main and Railroad streets. Drivers: Donald L. Smith, 56, Hammond, and Trenton N. Harrison, 24, Galveston. An individual involved complained of shoulder pain. No further information was available.

1:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, US 31 and SR 14. Driver: Austin R. Bango Santamaria, 57, Indianapolis. Santamaria’s truck and trailer went off the roadway. He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

2:23 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, CR 300S and SR 114. Driver: Michael J. Scorsone, 44, Wabash. Scorsone’s vehicle struck a deer.

7:44 p.m. Friday, Oct 4, CR 450N, west of US 31. Driver: Kyle A. Hoover, 37, Rochester. Hoover’s vehicle struck a deer.
