Warsaw Man Recently Arrested for Alleged Theft
WARSAW — Jamie C. Hunt, 43, 615 E. Arthur Street, Warsaw was recently booked for two counts of theft.
One of those charges is a class A misdemeanor. The second is a level 6 felony.
On Sept. 14, officers responded to a report of a theft at Walmart in Warsaw. A Walmart Asset Prevention Officer said she was monitoring the self-checkout registers and observed a man fail to scan and pay for items.
The man was later identified as Hunt.
Walmart employees spoke with Hunt after he exited the self-checkout area. He admitted he failed to scan and pay for several items.
After separating the paid and unpaid items, employees found Hunt failed to pay for $136.25 worth of merchandise.
Hunt was previously convicted of theft on Mar. 7, 2005 in Kosciusko County Superior Court One.
On Sept. 27, Hunt was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail with a bond of $3,750 surety and cash.
