Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:14 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, Old SR 15 and Waubee Lane, Milford. Drivers: Ricardo C. Melendez, 22, East CR 1150N, Milford; and Kimberly A. Geese, 49, Dove Lane, Milford. Melendez’s vehicle rear-ended Geese’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents

3:07 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, Logan Street, near Wilson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kendra L. Williams, 16, North Vicky Lane, Warsaw; and Justin L. Garey, 30, East Levi Lee Road 193, Warsaw. Garey was traveling north on Logan Street when Williams’ vehicle rear-ended his. Damage up to $5,000.

10:23 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, East US 30, near North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Seth T. Smolinske, 50, Drake Road, Kendallville; and Deborah A. Brown, 63, South Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Smolinske was traveling south on North Parker Street when he attempted to make a right turn. As he did so, his vehicle entered the left lane of travel, causing a collision with Brown’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

8:27 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, East Winona Avenue, east of Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Damion J. Villa, 17, West CR 200N, Warsaw; and Sarah J. Patterson, 39, West CR 300S, South Whitley. Villa said he was trying to cross Winona Avenue while traffic was backed up. Villa said he did not see Patterson’s vehicle traveling east and he pulled out in front of her vehicle, resulting in the two vehicles colliding. Damage up to $5,000.
