Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incident:
- 9:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 5000 block of East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Police responded to the Mary Jane Helmuth residence to investigate the theft of a red IPhone with pink case and a cash app card. Value: $830.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 6:08 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 1100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Melinda Barnhart to investigate an auto theft. Taken was a red 2017 Hyundai and one set of keys. Value: $28,400.
- 5:53 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 700 block of West Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Abraham Suissi residence to investigate the theft from a vehicle. Taken were Beats headphones and meat snacks. Value: $140.
- 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 3700 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Police investigated a report from Service Liquors East of a break-in to a vending machine. Damage: $600.
- 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1500 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Michael A. Brookins residence to investigate a theft from a vehicle. Taken was a driver’s license, $80 in cash, a $40 gift card and a wallet. Value: $170.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:38 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1200 block of Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Police responded to the Cassandra Frantz residence to investigate a criminal mischief, a broken window. Damage: $250.
- 5:47 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1200 block of Presidential Drive, Winona Lake. Police investigated an invasion of privacy, violation of a protective order.
