Police Report Finding Fentanyl On Victim In Domestic Dispute
WARSAW — A woman who police say was a victim of domestic violence ended up being charged with drug crimes when officers reported finding Fentanyl in her purse.
Kassandra Denise Roberts, 26, 3867 N. SR 15, Warsaw, is charged with possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony. She was booked Aug. 14 in Kosciusko County Jail on $5,250 surety and cash bond.
On July 16, Roberts was involved in a domestic dispute with Darek Hart, 27, also of Warsaw. Police investigated the incident and conducted what officers called an inventory search of the vehicle involved. Officers reported finding two plastic bags in Roberts’ purse, both of which contained a gray substance. Roberts told police the bags contained synthetic heroin which later tested positive for Fentanyl.
