Brad Clayton Joins Watershed Foundation As Conservationist
NORTH WEBSTER — The Watershed Foundation announces Brad Clayton as the newest watershed conservationist joining Sam St. Clair and Scott Zeigler.
Clayton is a North Webster native, who graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in plant and soil science. Clayton has worked both with producers as a yield-pro specialist with Harvest Land Co-op in Jay County, as well as in Oklahoma as a member of the Oklahoma State University Wheat Improvement Team.
Currently he is the education, social media, and public relations manager at his family’s business, Clayton Garden Center. Clayton is also an associate supervisor for the Kosciusko Soil and Water Conservation District as well as the KSWCD representative on the Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Council.
TWF watershed conservationists help identify pollution sources in the Upper Tippecanoe River watershed and work in collaboration with landowners to implement solutions. TWF offers cost-share programs for best management conservation practices regarding soil health and water quality, based on priority areas and pollutants of concern in those areas.
