Lady Panthers Open With Harrison Repeat

LAFAYETTE — NorthWood’s girls golf team picked up where it left off, firing a 312 and repeating as Lafayette Harrison Invitational champion in its opener Monday.
The Lady Panthers’ score was 18 strokes better than runner-up Crown Point’s 330, while host Harrison finished third with a 358 at the four-ball scoring formatted tourney at Coyote Crossing Golf Course.
Sophomore Cybil Stillson collected medalist honors with an even-par 72, while Breanna Goss finished second with a score of 78. Kirsten Schrock shot 84 for seventh-place individually, Makenna Gall was ninth with an 87, and Delaney Davis shot 90 to round out the top 10 in the field.
NorthWood will play in the Lafayette Jefferson Invitational at Battleground Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m.
