GOSHEN — A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a three-year-old girl from Elkhart County, according to the Indiana State Police.

Goshen Police are investigating the disappearance of Avelina Seleni Juraz Duran, a Hispanic girl who is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes with a mole on the left side of her head.

She may be in the company of Edward Brena.

Avelina is missing from Elkhart and was last seen at about 5 p.m. Friday, July 12, the ISP news release said.
