BREAKING — KCSO Involved In Pursuing Marshall County Armed Robbery Suspect
MARSHALL COUNTY — Officers with multiple police departments in three counties were involved in pursuing an armed robbery suspect from Marshall County.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a man armed with a gun stealing a vehicle. The vehicle pursuit started in Marshall County eastbound on US 30 and ended in Whitley County in the area of CR 450W in Columbia City.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department and Whitley County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the pursuit.
The pursuit appeared to end after the suspect’s car collided with a Whitley County police vehicle, which then caught fire.
The accident backed up traffic in both directions along US 30.
