WINONA LAKE — Winona Lake Town Coordinator Craig Allebach announced on Monday, July 8, that roadwork was beginning in several places around the town.

Beginning Monday morning, work will begin on milling and resurfacing the following streets in Winona Lake — Kings Highway from Argonne Road to Miller Field; Mineral Springs; Kings Court; Cherry Avenue; 11th Street; 12th Street; 2nd Street; College Avenue from 4th Street to 7th Street; 6th Street from Kings Highway to Walnut Street; 13th Street; and Wood Street.

Although streets should remain open to at least one lane of traffic, Allebach said motorists should expect delays, especially on Kings Highway. Allebach said the town hopes the King’s Highway work will be done by the end of the week and said he hopes all the projects will be wrapped up in two to three weeks.
