Area Trio Scheduled To Compete At All-Star Classic
ANDERSON – Two from Warsaw and one from Wawasee are among the All-Star teams to compete at the Indiana Class Basketball All-Star Classic.
The boys and girls games, showcasing outgoing seniors as well as incoming seniors at the high school level, will take place June 14-15 at Anderson University.
The 11th annual tournament will see Warsaw graduate Maddie Ryman join the Senior Girls on Team White take on Team Red, which will include Wawasee graduate Casey Schroeder. The game, set for Friday at 12:30 p.m., will also have area star Ariel Dale from Northfield play on Ryman’s team, and Knox’s Lindsay Sampson join Schroeder on the Red roster.
Warsaw’s Kaylee Patton, entering her senior year, is listed on the Junior Team Red 1 roster, but is still rehabbing from a torn ACL incurred last winter. If Patton plays, she will have South Bend Riley’s Jazmen Watts on her bench for the Saturday game scheduled for 6 p.m.
Among those on roster for the two-day event are South Bend Washington’s Demarcus Vaughn and Jylen Petty, Central Noble’s Ridley Zolman and Connor Essegian, Wabash’s Trenton Daughtry, St. Joe’s JR Konieczny, Elkhart Central’s Katelyn Costner, Goshen’s Brynn Shoup-Hill and North Judson’s Lillian Frasure.
