Added Police Patrols Announced In Kosciusko County
WINONA LAKE — Local law enforcement agencies will participate in roving patrols during the month of June, including two days this week.
The interdiction effort is aimed at reducing crashes, deaths and injuries. With the increase in summertime traffic, the patrols are committed to making the roads safer by their increased presence and enforcement throughout Kosciusko County, according to a news release from Kosciusko County Traffic Safety Partnership.
The Traffic Safety Partnership announced Interdiction patrols are planned from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 6. No exact locations were provided.
Participating agencies include Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriffs’ Office as well as police departments in Claypool, Mentone, Milford, Silver Lake, Syracuse, Warsaw and Winona Lake.
