Triton High School Holds Third Annual Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway
BOURBON — Triton High School’s third annual perfect attendance car giveaway, sponsored by Swanson’s Cars and Trucks, was held on May 31, at the conclusion of the academic awards convocation.
This year’s winner is freshman Melissa Slabaugh. The freshman, who’s 15 and doesn’t have her license yet, will have to have her parents take possession of the 2014 Jeep Patriot until she does.
Ten qualifying students with perfect attendance were each given a card numbered from 1 to 10. Corresponding ping pong balls were drawn one at a time, with the last number being that of the winner.
Slabaugh, Nicholai Fink, Connor Large, Lauren Snyder, Sarah Weber, Trent Barnhart, Clarissa Gonzalez, Michaela Martin, Alysha May and Josiah Page were all students who achieved perfect attendance during the 2018-19 school year.
