Plymouth Accounting And Financial Services Firm Announces Name Change
PLYMOUTH — When it comes to understanding the constant change that is part of operating a business or managing personal finances, the partners of KuhnDillonUmbaugh have both professional and personal experience.
Formerly known as CarterDillonUmbaugh since its inception late in 2012, the name change to KuhnDillonUmbaugh reflects elevation of Justin Kuhn from a junior to senior partner.
“Justin Kuhn has been a major factor in growing our business clientele, especially over the last year and a half or so,” says Jim Dillon, partner and investment advisor representative of the newly named KuhnDillonUmbaugh. “It only made sense to put his name on the door and make it official as we always thought of him as a senior partner from day one, even though he joined the firm after it had already been up and running.”
Although only six years old, KuhnDillonUmbaugh has expanded rapidly and has been voted Marshall County’s favorite accounting firm by readers of The Pilot News each of the last four years. A graduate of Valparaiso University, newly named Senior Partner and Accountant Justin Kuhn has been with the firm for over five years.
According to Dillon, “Our new business name is a formality that doesn’t change how we do business, the services we offer or our dedication to each of our clients. As always, we strive to humanize the process of financial services by providing context to the numbers in our clients’ lives. In addition to the private clients we already serve, we seem to have established a niche in working with closely-held businesses. For these businesses there is really little distinction between their personal finances and the finances of their business. Our job is to help maximize how much money those business owners ultimately take home to their households.”
