Holderman Arrested After Standoff
TIPPECANOE — Taran Holderman, 27, was arrested by Marshall County UNIT Officers following a short standoff Thursday, May 16, in a wooded area in Tippecanoe. Holderman was wanted on a warrant for dealing methamphetamne, a level 2 felony, out of Kosciusko County.
Holderman’s arrest was a joint drug task force operation between UNIT and NET 43.
UNIT officers, with the assistance of the Marshall County Police, Bourbon Police and Indiana State Police, made the arrest. During his arrest Holderman was found to be possession a loaded handgun.
He was taken to the Marshall County Jail on the the warrant along with charges of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, a level 4 felony. He was held on $25,000 cash bond.
